Minutes of 4-16-07

Start: 1:30 pm, Adjourn: 2:30 pm, In Attendance: Maury Pearl, Hanh Tranh, David Garza, Phoebe Rivera, Paul McKenna

1. The Committee started to discuss and review the Master Tech Plan

2. The Committee started with student - learning - http://missiontechnology.pbwiki.com/teaching-learning

3. Vilma B. will follow up with various college departments to see what they are doing with technology

4. Maury will bring in the last student surveys on technology and the committee will review it and send out another survey. The reason we are looking at the survey is to determine which applications should students receive training to make them information competent.

5. The Committee discussed information competency and David G. will get us the current status of information competency on campus.

6. Members are encouraged to read the Master Tech Plan and to edit it.

7. The Committee on 4-30 will continue editing student-learning.
